 Cold Conwy

An Artists impression of how Conwy might have looked before the second road bridge was constructed across the river in the 1950's

Rhyl Funfair

From across Foryd Harbour, I felt inspired to capture the funfair in all it's faded glory before its eventual demolition.

18 x 12"

Original Watercolour

 Rhuddlan Castle

Not as formidable as Conwy Castle, nevertheless it has a certain charm

18 x 12"

Little Train Barmouth

Unrivalled scenery as the little train makes its way along the Mawddach Estuary into Barmouth

18 x 12"

Original Watercolour

Slate Quarry

Capel Curig

One can imagine the noise, dirt and dust as the trucks rolled up and down the quarry with their cargo of slate.

18 x 12"

Original Watercolour

  Britannia Bridge

Not visited or as well known as its sister bridge, Menai, nevertheless still quite formidable, and not as easy to paint as the Menai Straits, and I like it from this angle. Painted late afternoon as the light looses its blues for pink hues.
